Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025

  • No more updates: Microsoft will stop providing security updates, technical assistance, and free software updates from Windows Update. 
  • No more help: Microsoft will no longer be available to answer questions or provide help for Windows 10.
  • Increased risk: Your computer may be more vulnerable to malware and bad actors.
  • App support may end: Some companies that make apps you use may stop supporting Windows 10.
  • Extended support (ESU): Extended support will be available to purchase for both Business and Consumer (presumably) starting sometime in Fall 2025. To be eligible, devices must be running Windows 10, versions 22H2. Pricing will be made available closer to the October 2025 date for end of support.

Microsoft recommends moving to Windows 11. If you have computers running Windows 10, Windows 11 is a free upgrade. Contact us to to discuss upgrading your Windows 10 PC’s to Windows 11.
